Mersea camp

Dear Parents and Carers of Class 4,

Many of you may have seen the weather warnings for more rain and possible thunderstorms this evening.

I have been liasing with Mersea staff and reviewing the situation. To reassure you, they have never had a scenario where parents have been called out to collect their children due to bad weather conditions. There are sheltered buildings that we can sleep in should the tents become too wet. However, they are brand new tents that are especially designed to protect from flooding and bad weather.

Children are soaking wet but having a fabulous time. All children are happy and enjoying themselves so you can rest easy tonight.
