Busy Bee's

 Class one have been busy bee's this week. The classroom has been a hive of activity. In Math, Y1 have continued to use the language of greater than, less than and equal to. They made comparisons between numbers and worked practically to compare groups of objects. They also used apparatus to represent numbers in different ways. YR have been matching objects and thinking about similarities and differences between sets. In English Y1 have been  writing sentences and wrote a recount of the Harvest celebration. They have focused on ea making the ee sound in phonics and YR have learnt the sounds: s, a, t, p this week. We have also been learning about adverse weather in Geography and continued to explore the senses and our bodies in Science.
