Creative Climate for Justice

 Creative Climate for Justice

This week, our school embraced the theme of Courageous Advocacy by participating in a creative and meaningful project inspired by Christian Aid's Climate Justice resources. As a Church of England school, we are passionate about equipping our pupils to stand up for justice and care for God’s creation, reflecting our Christian values in action.

Each class explored a climate-related theme and used their creativity to produce stunning artwork:

  • Class 1 created beautiful rain pictures featuring raindrops, wellies, and umbrellas.
  • Class 2 made vibrant sunshine pictures with sunglasses, flip-flops, and other sunny essentials.
  • Class 3 focused on drought, producing thought-provoking artwork that highlighted the challenges of dry, barren landscapes.
  • Class 4 explored the impact of floods and created a large-scale, powerful picture of the world using paint, drawings, and collage.

Through this project, our pupils learned about the effects of climate change on communities around the world and the importance of taking bold action to advocate for a more sustainable and just future.

Together, we can inspire change and live out our commitment to care for God’s creation.
