Learning in class 2 this week
We have had another busy week in class 2! It has been lovely to see the children back after the half term break.
In Phonics and English we have been learning to read and apply the 'le' sound and using capital letters for proper nouns. The children have written fantastic sentences, recalling events from our story and really challenging themselves. It has been wonderful to see their determination and progress.
In RE the children have been exploring what we would find in a shrine in a Hindu person's home and the children have really impressed us with their knowledge of prayer and symbols in the Hindu faith.
In Geography we discussed the weather and climate in UK and Brazil, comparing how the weather affects the loves of people living in the UK and equatorial countries. The children love to learn about life in other countries.
In PE we had lots of fun playing games involving different jumps!
In ICT we used webpages to find information on Guy Fawkes and Remembrance Day.
We hope you have a lovely weekend,
The Class 2 Team
