KS2 Trip

 KS2 Trip

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are pleased and excited to inform you that KS2 students will be attending an educational trip to the London Science Museum on Thursday 22nd May. This visit will provide a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with science in an interactive and stimulating environment. During the trip, pupils will take part in two exciting activities:

  • Exploring Space Gallery – A fascinating exhibit where students will learn about space exploration, astronauts, and the wonders of the universe.
  • The Wonder Show! – An engaging and interactive science show designed to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific discovery.

Please ensure your child arrives at school no later than 8:15 AM for registration as the coach is scheduled to depart promptly. We would hate for anyone to miss the trip so your punctuality is greatly appreciated. We expect to return to school by 4:00 PM. The KS2 team will remain in contact with the school throughout the day, and if there are any changes to our estimated time of arrival back at school, you will be informed by the office.

To help cover the cost of the trip, we kindly request a £7 contribution per child. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the PTFA, whose generous donation has helped reduce the overall cost of the trip.

Important Information:

  • Children must wear full school uniform but may wear comfortable footwear (e.g., trainers).
  • All pupils require a packed lunch, along with snacks and a drink (please follow our school policy of a healthy packed lunch, no fizzy drinks or glass bottles).
  • If your child is entitled to free school meals, please contact Mrs. Fowler at the school office to arrange a school packed lunch.

Please see the separate payment item on Arbor to give your consent, along with your contribution, by Friday 7th March 2025 to confirm your child’s attendance. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your support.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs. Campbell & Miss Baker
