Class 2's busy week
What a fantastic and busy week we've had in Class 2!
We were lucky to have a visit from the charity Head2Mind, where the children took part in a workshop all about feelings and emotions. They explored the idea of the 'weather' inside their bodies and learned some calming breathing exercises and techniques. It was wonderful to see them expressing their thoughts and emotions so clearly!
In Maths, we have been exploring equal groups and introducing the multiplication symbol. The children have enjoyed working practically and developing their understanding of this key concept.
In English, we revisited our knowledge of verbs and adverbs with a fun sorting activity and some fantastic sentence-building exercises. The children showed great enthusiasm and creativity in their work!
Our Science lessons took us into the world of habitats and microhabitats. We discovered the different places animals and plants live and how they depend on their environments to survive.
Collaboration has been a big focus this week, with plenty of group and paired activities across all subjects. It’s been lovely to see the children working together, sharing ideas, and developing their language skills.
Another exciting and productive week in Class 2—well done, everyone!
