Class 4's World of a Week

Class 4 had an exciting week! Monday started with PE outside, enjoying the lovely weather. Wednesday was special as author Karen Noller visited, inspiring everyone with story writing. Thursday brought the fun of World Book Day, with brilliant costumes and a love for reading. On Friday, the class got creative, making a climate change paper chain to raise awareness. In math, they tackled the "Unfair Arithmetic Challenge," testing their problem-solving skills. It was a week full of learning, creativity, and fun, making each day unique and engaging for everyone in Class 4!

PE

Class 4 had a fantastic PE session outside, making the most of the lovely weather. We were lucky enough to play an exciting game of dodgeball, full of energy and teamwork. Everyone had great fun dodging, throwing, and catching, showing great sportsmanship throughout the game. A brilliant PE lesson!













Author Visit

On Wednesday, Class 4 had a wonderful visit from author Karen Noller. She inspired us with her storytelling skills, and we had a fantastic time creating our own stories. Everyone used their imagination to write some great pieces, making it a fun and creative experience for all.















World Book Day

Class 4 had a fantastic World Book Day, dressing up as their favorite characters in amazing costumes. Everyone enjoyed celebrating their love for reading, sharing stories, and taking part in fun book-themed activities. It was a brilliant day filled with creativity, imagination, and a shared passion for books!








PSHE

On Friday, Class 4 created a paper chain highlighting the different causes of climate change. We had thoughtful discussions about what climate change is, its causes, and its effects on the planet. We also focused on courageous advocacy, exploring ways to make a positive impact while building our informative paper chain.

















The Unfair Arithmetic Challenge

Class 4 had a blast playing the Unfair Arithmetic Challenge, testing their speed and accuracy. For uncertain answers, they could keep the mystery point or give it away, adding excitement. The game was full of different methods, strategic thinking, and lots of fun, making math an exciting adventure!
