We had a fantastic World Book Day celebration with a special visit from author Karen Noller! She worked with each class, helping them explore storytelling by focusing on who, what, where, when, and how. The children thoroughly enjoyed their learning experience and were truly inspired. Class 1
Class 1 had a fantastic World Book Day, taking part in an exciting quiz and showcasing their creativity through amazing character drawings of who they dressed up as. The children loved sharing their favorite book characters and celebrating their love of stories in a fun and imaginative way!
Class 2
Class 2 had an exciting scavenger hunt, searching for different book characters hidden around the classroom. To wrap up their World Book Day celebrations, they took part in a fun character quiz, testing their knowledge of beloved stories. It was a fantastic day full of learning, laughter, and literary adventures!
Class 3
Class 3 had an exciting World Book Day, listening to Bob the Badger by Karen Noller and creating their own alternative story endings with illustrations. They also designed creative story character selfies inspired by their own reading books, choosing from a wide range of stories or picking their favorites. To top it off, they joined the BBC Live World Book Day lesson, making it a fun-filled day of storytelling, creativity, and a shared love of books!
Class 4
Class 4 had a brilliant World Book Day, creating amazing stories with author Karen Noller and showcasing their creativity in FANTASTIC fancy dress! The children loved bringing their favorite book characters to life while developing their storytelling skills. It was a day filled with imagination, fun, and a love for books!
