Class 4s Fast First Week Back!

Class 4 had a fantastic first week back! In PE, we focused on both short and long distance running, building stamina and having fun outdoors. In science, we explored plant biology—labelling different parts of a plant and diving into how they reproduce. Everyone enjoyed the hands-on activities and asked great questions. In RE, we began reading scripture from the Bible, focusing on the powerful story of the Exodus. The children engaged thoughtfully with the text and discussed its meaning. It’s been a week full of learning, energy, and curiosity—we’re excited for all that’s ahead this term!

PE

Class 4 had a great time in PE this week, practising both short and long distance running. Working in teams, they combined the two styles through fun relay races and endurance challenges. Everyone showed great teamwork, determination, and enthusiasm—building fitness while supporting one another.

Science

In science, Class 4 explored how plants reproduce. We labelled parts of a plant and learned the difference between sexual and asexual reproduction. The children were fascinated to discover how new plants grow in different ways and enjoyed discussing examples. A fun and engaging start to our plant biology topic!

RE

This week in RE, Class 4 explored the Exodus story using scripture from the Bible. We learned how Moses, with God's help, led his people to freedom from slavery in Egypt. The children reflected on themes of courage, faith, and leadership, engaging thoughtfully with this powerful and inspiring story.
