Class 2's creative week!

 We’ve had another fantastic week in Year 2 filled with hands-on learning and creativity!

Maths
This week, the children have continued their learning on capacity with some exciting outdoor activities using water! They measured and compared the volume and capacity of different jugs and cups, deepening their understanding by working with concrete materials. It was great to see them so engaged and enthusiastic!

English
In English, the children have been working extremely hard on their letter writing. They have created beautiful and thoughtful thank-you letters, showing great care with their writing and presentation. Their effort and attention to detail have been impressive!

Art
Our budding artists showed wonderful skill and resilience in Art this week as they worked with clay to create their very own pinch pots. They applied the techniques we’ve been learning to mould, mark, and join the clay. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and should feel very proud of their creations!

Reminder
Just a reminder that PE days are Thursday and Friday. Please ensure your child has a PE kit in school ready for those days.
