Class 2's busy week
We have had another busy and fun week of learning in Class 2! 😄🎉
In English, we finished our letter writing unit by writing letters to another class. ✉️📝 We told them about our favourite memories of Class 2 so far and asked them about their learning in Class 3. The children brought all their letter writing skills together, and it was great fun remembering all our achievements and the exciting moments we've had this year.
In Maths, we have been learning about halves and quarters of shapes and objects. The children explored different ways to divide things equally and enjoyed lots of practical activities.
In Art, the children continued to develop their skills with clay by making and decorating a tile. They used their hands to shape the clay and added patterns using tools and objects. The children worked really hard on their creations, and we also learned about different forms of sculpture.
In PE today, we had lots of fun completing an obstacle course. 🏃♂️🏃♀️⏱️ We used our strength and stamina to spend one minute at each station, with a 30-second rest in between. We talked about how our bodies felt, when we needed a rest, and which stations required the most strength and stamina. 💪
Well done, Class 2, for another fantastic week of learning and fun! 🌈👏🎓
