Class 2's busy week

This week, the children have been working hard in Maths, learning about unit fractions and non-unit fractions. They have already made fantastic progress and continue to work diligently to recognise and draw fractions within shapes and everyday objects.

In ICT this term, we will be creating our own e-books. The children have started planning their books by deciding what topics they would like to research and write about — a very exciting project ahead!

In RE, we have started learning about sacred and special places in different faiths. The children had thoughtful discussions about places that are special to them and shared the reasons why those places hold meaning.

In PE today, we had a brilliant time practising our sending and returning skills in pairs. One person had to accurately throw the ball while the other returned it with a racket. It was a fun and energetic session — made even better by the lovely sunny weather at the end of the week!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend,
Class 2 team
