 Toast and jam at Forest School!

We had a fantastic time this afternoon filled with fun and lots activity. At the start, the children enjoyed playing a game of 1,2,3 Where Are You? It was very difficult not to peek to see where the hider was hiding whilst we counted to 20! 

After that, the children chose from all the lovely opportunities available. We had some mud kitchen creations, some den building and lots of sharing and communication on the rope swing as children pulled the rope to swing their friends. We also had a fire and whittled some willow sticks so that we could make toast on them over the flames. The children then chose to eat their toast off the stick or spread butter and jam on it before eating.

At the end of the session all the children shared what they had enjoyed and what they would like to do next week…s’mores featured heavily in the requests!
