Here are 6 creative homework ideas for you to choose from. Please try to complete at least 4 tasks by Thursday 24th October 2025. Use your creativity and be proud of your home learning. Please bring in your pieces, we are so excited to see your hard work and ideas come to life.

1. Digital Research & Presentation

  • Use a computer or tablet to research an animal of your choice.

  • Create a simple poster or slideshow with pictures and facts (habitat, diet, special features).

  • Be ready to share one fun fact in class.

2. Newspaper Article Challenge

  • Pretend you are a reporter covering a special event at school (e.g., sports day, a class trip, or a celebration).

  • Write a short article with a catchy headline.

  • Cut out a picture from an old magazine/newspaper (or draw your own) to go with your article.

3. Graphic Novel Storytelling

  • Create a Graphic Novel scene about an adventure with a magical object (e.g., a talking pencil or flying backpack).

  • Include speech bubbles, colourful drawings, and a beginning, middle, and end.

4. Family Interview

  • Interview a family member (parent, grandparent, or sibling) about what school was like for them at your age.

  • Write down their answers and add one picture or drawing to show what you learned.

  • Present your interview in any way you choose.

5. Collage of the Future

  • Cut out pictures/words from magazines or newspapers that show what you think the world will look like in 50 years.

  • Arrange them into a colourful collage.

  • Add 3 sentences describing your future world.

6. Creative Writing with Illustrations

  • Write a short story titled “The Day Everything Turned Upside Down.”

  • Use your imagination and include at least one illustration (drawing, painting, or digital art).
