Class 5's Great Week

Class 5's Fab Week

Class 5 have had a very busy and exciting week! In English, they have been working on writing spooky story openers, using powerful vocabulary and suspenseful sentences to hook their readers right from the start. In PE, the children have been practising their hand–eye coordination through badminton, showing great focus, teamwork, and determination as they develop their skills. In maths, they have been putting their mental arithmetic to the test during their weekly practice, building both speed and accuracy with number work.

It has been wonderful to see the effort, enthusiasm, and resilience that Class 5 continue to show in all areas of their learning. Keep up the fantastic work!

PE (Outdoor)

In PE today, we practised our hand-eye coordination through badminton activities. We worked on controlling the shuttle with accuracy and timing, which helped us improve our focus and reaction skills. A key part of the lesson was learning how to serve properly, making sure we held the racket correctly and hit the shuttle from the right height. This activity was fun and also helped us develop important skills for playing badminton more confidently.

Have a lovely weekend 😊
