Forest School adventures
We had a wonderful time at Forest School today and were so lucky the rain held off! The children quickly settled back into the Forest School area and showed great confidence, either by trying new activities or returning to their favourite ones from last week.
One of the highlights was building shelters with tarpaulin. The children worked hard to secure them using ropes and sticks, showing lots of perseverance and teamwork. It was lovely to see them problem-solving together, making sensible and supportive suggestions to help each other achieve their goals.
The mud kitchen was a popular spot, with plenty of imaginative play and messy fun. The children also enjoyed creating crafts using natural resources such as berries, leaves, and lavender – exploring textures, colours, and creativity in the process.
We are so proud of how the children embraced every activity, worked together, and demonstrated independence and resilience in the outdoor environment. We are already looking forward to our next Forest School session! 🌿✨
