Forest school

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the children to their very first Forest School session. It was wonderful to meet them and introduce them to our special outdoor learning area.

The children loved exploring all that the space has to offer. They enjoyed experimenting in the mud kitchen, gathering in the log circle, and discovering sticks and pine cones hidden around the site. Working together, they built dens and created pretend fires, using their imaginations to invent games and solve challenges along the way.

It was fantastic to see how much they enjoyed being outdoors, making the most of the freedom and creativity that our Forest School area provides. The session was filled with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of fresh air!

We’re already looking forward to next week and all the exciting Forest School adventures still to come.
