A busy week in Class 4

This week, Class 4 have been working incredibly hard to complete their explanation texts. We have brought together all of our learning about the features of explanation writing and used it to explain our own inventions. The children have shown such pride, care, and determination, and their final pieces are beautifully written. Well done, children!

In PE, we continued our gymnastics learning. The children have been exploring how to make shapes with their bodies and how to use control, balance, and strength in their movements. They have really enjoyed experimenting and developing their skills.

In Computing, we have started to learn about video production and how bloggers, such as DanTDM, create their videos. This has been both interesting and insightful for the children, who were fascinated to see how much planning and creativity goes into making engaging content. They are all very excited to begin producing and creating their own videos in the coming weeks!

In Geography, we learned about active, dormant, and extinct volcanoes around the world and where these can be found. Using the Chromebooks, the children researched different volcanoes and loved discovering more about these exciting natural wonders.

A big well done to the children who have been bringing in their homework. They have been working so hard, and we love seeing their ideas, research, and creations.
