Class 4 creative homework

Here is Class 4's creative homework for this half term. These are suggestions from the children, and we hope they enjoy completing them.

Please try to complete at least 4 tasks by Monday 15th December 2025. Use your creativity and be proud of your home learning. Please bring in your pieces or send in your slides, we are so excited to see your hard work and ideas come to life.

1. Animal Mask Design

  • Choose your favourite animal and create a detailed and accurate mask using any materials you like — paper, card, fabric, recycled items, etc.
  • Take a picture of you wearing or holding your mask.
  • Write a paragraph describing your animal’s habitat, diet, and one interesting fact.

2. Research & Report

  • Pick a topic you’re interested in (e.g., volcanoes, space, a country, a famous person, an invention).
  • Use books, the internet, or magazines to research facts.
  • Create a one-page report with headings, bullet points, and pictures.

3. Healthy Snack Challenge

  • Design and make a healthy snack at home (with adult help if needed).
  • Take a photo or draw your snack.
  • Write sentences describing what’s in it, why it’s healthy, and how it could give you energy for learning.

4. Tourism Poster

  • Choose a place you’d like to promote — it could be a city, country, or local attraction.
  • Create a colourful tourism poster encouraging people to visit.
  • Include facts, key attractions, and pictures or drawings.

5. Presentation Project

  • Prepare a short presentation on Google slides on a subject of your choice (something you love or find fascinating).
  • You can make slides on the computer, a poster, or a small display board.
  • Be ready to share your key points with the class. Parents can email the slides to Mrs. Fowler who will pass to Miss. Taylor and Mrs. Jiggins

6. Build It! – Creative Structure

  • Design and build a small structure (e.g., a bridge, tower, model home, or landmark) using any materials you like — Lego, cardboard, natural items, etc.
  • Take a picture of your finished structure.
  • Label its parts and write a short description explaining how you made it and what inspired your design.
  • Please don’t bring your structures into school! Just the picture with labels and descriptions.

7. Wordsearch Wizard

  • Create your own wordsearch on a topic you enjoy (e.g., animals, sports, space, books, etc.).
  • You can make it by hand or use a computer.
  • Include a word list and test it out on a family member or friend!
