Class 5's Busy Week

Class 5 have had a wonderfully busy first week back after half term! They’ve been learning all about the features of persuasive texts and are already understanding the different writing features with confidence. In maths, they have been practising their percentages and applying them to real-life problems. The children also enjoyed meeting our new Reverend Jo and spent time getting to know everyone. It was fantastic to see Class 5 helping at our Open Door session and proudly supporting the welcome of new prospective parents to our school. What a brilliant start to the half term!

Daily Learning

Class 5 have been working hard in their daily learning, showing great focus and enthusiasm. In reading, they’ve been exploring exciting new texts and building their comprehension skills. Maths lessons have focused on problem-solving and percentages, while in writing, they’ve been practising persuasive techniques and developing confident, creative ideas.
