Class 5's Hard Working Week!

Class 5's Hard Working Week!

This week has been an incredibly busy but rewarding one for Class 5. The children have shown fantastic focus and determination throughout Assessment Week, approaching each task with a positive attitude and a real desire to do their best. Alongside their assessments, they have also been developing their persuasive writing skills by creating fundraising letters. Their ideas were thoughtful, creative, and showed just how passionate they are about making a difference.

Another highlight of the week was their role as learning mentors to Class 1. Class 5 embraced this responsibility beautifully, supporting younger pupils with patience, kindness, and plenty of encouragement. It was wonderful to see such confident role models in action.

To finish the week, the class got stuck into designing and making their Christmas Market gifts. Their creativity shone through, and we can’t wait to share their finished products soon. Well done, Class 5!

Writing

Class 5 worked hard this week to write thoughtful and persuasive fundraising letters. They carefully considered their purpose, chose emotive language, and presented clear reasons to support their cause. Their letters showed maturity, creativity, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. We’re very proud of their fantastic efforts!

Learning Mentors

Class 5 were wonderful learning mentors to Class 1 this week. They supported the younger children with patience, kindness and clear guidance, helping them grow in confidence. Their leadership and maturity shone through as they encouraged Class 1 with reading, learning tasks and problem-solving. A fantastic effort from our brilliant role models!

Have a lovely weekend! 😊
