Miss Reece and I had the great pleasure of attending Reverend Jo’s ordination at St John the Baptist Church in Layer de la Haye on Tuesday evening. It was a truly special and memorable occasion, filled with warmth, joy, and community spirit as we welcomed her into her new role. The following day, our Year 6 pupils and members of the Holy Council had the wonderful opportunity to introduce themselves and share a little about our school with Reverend Jo. They spoke beautifully and represented Darcy School with pride. We are very much looking forward to officially welcoming Reverend Jo to our whole school community during our upcoming Remembrance Service (for pupils only) on Tuesday 11th November, where she will join us for this important and reflective occasion.
