This week our school gathered for a joyful Christingle celebration in Tolleshunt D’Arcy, and it was a truly special moment for our whole community. The children learned about the meaning behind each part of the Christingle - the orange representing the world, the red ribbon reminding us of God’s love, and the candle shining brightly as a symbol of Jesus, the Light of the World. With the hall filled with warm light and even warmer smiles, it was a beautiful way to begin the Christmas season.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Andy and Linda from the church, whose kindness, guidance, and enthusiasm helped make the service so meaningful. Their support allowed our children to experience a tradition that brings hope, reflection, and togetherness each year.
Christingle remains one of our most treasured events, and this year’s celebration was one to remember.
