Class 5's Lovely Week

Class 5 have had a truly wonderful week filled with excitement, learning, and festive fun! One of the biggest highlights was taking part in a live assembly broadcast all the way from Antarctica. The children were amazed to see real scientists working in such extreme conditions and they asked thoughtful questions about wildlife, weather, and life at the research station. It was an unforgettable experience that brought our geography learning to life.

Back in the classroom, pupils worked hard on improving their spelling and handwriting. Everyone showed great determination, taking extra care with letter formation and challenging word lists. It was fantastic to see so much pride in their written work.

To end the week with some Christmas cheer, we had a brilliant PE session filled with Christmas-themed games. With festive team challenges, the hall was full of laughter and energy. What a lovely week for Class 5!

Live Assembly

Class 5 were thrilled to join a live assembly from Antarctica this week! They watched scientists at work, learning about extreme weather, wildlife, and life on the icy continent. The children asked curious questions and were fascinated by the unique environment, making it an inspiring and unforgettable learning experience.

PE

Class 5 had a fun-filled PE session with Christmas-themed games this week. They enjoyed festive relay races, team challenges and active games that brought lots of laughter and excitement. Everyone participated with energy and enthusiasm, celebrating the holiday spirit while staying active and building teamwork skills.
