Another Busy and Brilliant Week in Class 4

We’ve had a lovely week in class! We have continued with our persuasive travel writing, where the children have invented their own fantasy lands to convince readers to visit. Their imaginations have been amazing to see — from beautifully designed maps to lively descriptions and some very creative and unusual places. The children have worked hard to choose persuasive language and really think about how to engage their audience.

In PE, we’ve enjoyed lessons focusing on dance and netball skills. Both sessions highlighted fantastic teamwork, creativity, and developing skills, with the children showing great enthusiasm and effort throughout.

The children have also been busy filming their own videos using the class iPads. They planned their shots carefully, wrote simple scripts, and made decisions about what and how to film. We have some budding filmmakers in the making!

We finished the week with a fantastic afternoon at the PTFA disco. The children looked amazing and had lots of fun dancing with their friends. A huge thank you to the PTFA for organising it for us.
