Class 5's Week of Learning
This week, Class 5 have enjoyed a busy and exciting week of learning. In English, we have been studying biographies and exploring the key features that make them effective. We learned how biographies tell the story of a real person’s life, include important dates and achievements, and are written in chronological order. We also began researching for our own biographies.
In grammar lessons, we learned dances to help us understand relative clauses in a fun and memorable way. Through movement and actions, we practised identifying relative pronouns such as who, which, and that, and used them to add extra information to our sentences.
As part of our Online Safety project, we explored how to stay safe online and discussed the impact of social media on our wellbeing. We created informative leaflets to share advice about responsible internet use and protecting personal information.

SPaG
This week in SPaG, Class 5 focused on relative clauses and relative pronouns. Through fun activities and dance, we learnt how words such as who, which, and that add extra information to sentences. We practised identifying relative clauses and using them to make our writing clearer, more detailed, and more interesting for readers.
Computing
In Computing, Class 5 focused on online safety and responsible internet use. We learned how to protect personal information, recognise potential risks, and understand the impact of social media on wellbeing. Using this knowledge, we designed informative leaflets to share tips and advice on staying safe and making sensible choices online.
Have a lovely weekend!
