Division, Dance and the Romans

This week in Maths, we have been working hard on division, with the children practising this skill every day. We have been learning to master the presentation, method, and calculations involved in short division problems. The children understand that it takes time to fully master these methods and have shown great dedication and perseverance in developing their skills.

In PE, the children have been working on a Dance unit. They have been using choreography to tell a story and exploring how to use space effectively to make their dances more impactful and expressive.

In RE, we learned about the Hindu deity Ganesh and how he represents strength and wisdom. The children explored the different symbols associated with Ganesh and discussed what these means for Hindus.

Finally, in History, we considered what made the Roman army so successful. The children have been really engaged and interested in this topic and are building a strong knowledge of the Roman invasion of Britain, including the reasons for the invasion and its consequences.
