Class 5's Great Week of Learning

Class 5 have had a fantastic week packed with fun and creativity! We kicked things off with some engaging maths revision games, helping us practise key skills while enjoying a bit of friendly competition. The class also had great fun creating their own ridiculous characters, letting their imaginations run wild and producing some very funny results.

In geography, we used atlases to locate and learn more about the amazing Great Barrier Reef. To finish the week, we enjoyed some lovely Mother’s Day activities, decorating plant pots and making thoughtful cards. The children were very proud of their creations and excited to take them home.

Geography

This week, the children used atlases to explore the world and locate the Great Barrier Reef. They practised using map skills to find Australia and learned interesting facts about this famous natural wonder. The class enjoyed discovering where it is in the world and why it is such an important marine habitat.

Mother's Day

To celebrate Mother’s Day, the children enjoyed some lovely creative activities. They carefully decorated colourful plant pots and designed thoughtful Mother’s Day cards to take home. Everyone put in lots of effort to make their gifts special, and the children were excited to share them with the mums and mother figures in their lives.
