Fire, Fun and Forest Adventures
We had such a lovely time at Forest School this week! One of the highlights was enjoying delicious hot dogs cooked over the fire by Miss Reed. Everyone tucked in happily, and it was wonderful to gather around together and share our snack outdoors.
We also tried something new — a rope walk! The children had great fun balancing along it, often singing as they went. It quickly became a favourite, along with the ever-popular rope swing.
There were plenty of exciting discoveries too. We found a huge worm, which sparked lots of curiosity and conversation. The children were busy building dens, playing creatively in the mud kitchen, and even digging clay from the ground to make their own models.
It was a wonderful morning filled with laughter, imaginative play, and lots of lovely conversations and games. We really do love our time outside in the fresh air!
We’re already looking forward to our next Forest School adventure.
