Important - Understanding SATs Parents Meeting
Understanding SATs Parents Meeting
Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to invite you to an Understanding SATs Meeting on Friday 17th April at 3:15pm, taking place straight after school in Class 5.
This meeting is an important opportunity for parents and carers to gain a clear understanding of what SATs are, what they involve, and what they mean for your child. SATs play a key role in assessing your child’s progress at the end of Key Stage 2, and they help both schools and secondary schools understand how pupils are performing in core subjects such as reading, writing and mathematics.
During the meeting we will:
Explain what SATs are and how the tests are structured
Share how the results are used and what they mean
Discuss how we prepare children in school
Provide practical ways you can support your child at home
Answer any questions you may have
Understanding the SATs process can help you feel more confident about supporting your child during this important stage of their education. It also ensures that children receive consistent encouragement and reassurance both at school and at home.
We strongly encourage all parents and carers of children in Class 5 to attend if possible.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Mrs Campbell 😊
