Our learning in Class 4
In Class 4 this week we have finished drafting and publishing our portal stories. The children have shown fantastic creativity and imagination, producing some truly engaging pieces of writing. It has been wonderful to see their ideas come to life.
In maths, we have spent time refreshing our learning on fractions and building on this further by learning about mixed numbers and placing fractions along a number line. The children have worked hard to deepen their understanding and have shown great perseverance when tackling new concepts.
We also enjoyed some tennis outside this week, where the children worked together to improve their skills and accuracy. It was lovely to see such teamwork and enthusiasm during our PE session.
In Geography, we continued learning about rainforests and discussed how we can help to protect them. The children shared some thoughtful ideas about caring for our planet and the importance of conservation.
Reminder: Our PE days are Tuesday (indoor PE) and Thursday (outdoor PE). Children should have their PE kits in school at all times. At this time of year, shorts, a t-shirt, a hoodie, and trainers are perfect. Thank you for your continued support.
