World Maths Day activities in Class 2
In Class 2, we recently had a fantastic time celebrating World Maths Day! To mark the occasion, we enjoyed an extra special maths lesson that was full of excitement, teamwork, and a little bit of mystery.
When the children arrived in class after break, they quickly noticed something was wrong — our class number line had been completely messed up! Numbers were out of order, and it was clear that someone had been causing mischief. The big question was… who could it be?
To solve the mystery, the children worked brilliantly in teams to tackle a series of measuring challenges. They measured, compared, and problem-solved their way through each task, using their maths skills with great enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see such fantastic teamwork and determination as they carefully worked through each clue.
Once all the challenges had been completed, the children unlocked the final puzzle. With great excitement, they pieced together the last clues to reveal the culprit…
It was Miss Reed!
There were lots of laughs as the mystery was solved, and the children felt very proud of their hard work and brilliant thinking. It was a fun and memorable way to celebrate World Maths Day, and a great reminder that maths can be full of adventure!
Well done, Class 2!
