More Forest School fun

It was a delight to spend this afternoon in Forest School with Year 2. They were excited to explore the space and found lots to keep themselves busy with.

They were straight into the mud kitchen, mixing up soil and mud to create lots of mud which they then loaded up in the wheelbarrows and moved around the site, working together in teams and playing so nicely together.

The children enjoyed swinging on the rope swing together and took turns to push each other and encourage each other to be brave.

Lots of children made necklaces with elder and they were keen to whittle willow to use to cook their marshmallows.

They particularly enjoyed making s'mores and eating them around the fire. We can't wait for next week, the children have left me with lots of requests for next week!
