The start of the summer term for Class 2!

 We were so happy to welcome the children back after the Easter break! We hope that everyone has had a happy holiday, with plenty of time to have fun with family and friends. 

This week, we have been as busy as ever in Class 2. We have been preparing for our sharing assembly and the children are looking forward to showing off their work to you all next Thursday. The year 1 children went off to forest school this week and had a great time. They came back to class and were so excited to tell me about the s'mores, tree climbing and necklace making! We also started to read a new book, called 'The Lost Homework'. The children engaged well with this new story all about a family wedding. Next week, we are going to start writing about our own special family event! Thanks so much for sending in your photos! It will really help the children with their writing next week.
