Year 1 Forest School adventures

Despite having a shorter session today (before they wowed us in their class assembly), Year 1 certainly made the most of their time at Forest School.

They created some lovely mud, enthusiastically mixing it up in the wheelbarrows and making full use of the mud kitchen. There was a great sense of teamwork and imagination as they supported each other and worked together.

Many children also challenged themselves on the rope walk, showing impressive bravery and balance as they carefully made their way along. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow with each attempt.

Using natural materials, the children crafted beautiful necklaces from elder, taking care to thread and design their pieces. Others worked collaboratively to build a lovely den, propping sticks against a tree and discussing how to make their structure strong and stable.

A sunny session, full of creativity, cooperation, and adventure!
