Class 2's weekly blog
Last week, we started an exciting experiment with seeds. We planted them in three different pots: one without soil, one without water, and one without sunlight. The children were very eager to see what would happen and couldn’t wait to check the results this week!
We discovered some really interesting things. The seeds without soil had started to grow, but they couldn’t grow very much without nutrients from the soil. The plant without sunlight had grown too, but it hadn’t turned green because it couldn’t get energy from the sun. Finally, the plant without water hadn’t grown at all. The children were delighted to see that their predictions were correct!
In Maths, the children have continued their learning about money, and they are all doing so well. In English, they finished their writing about a family event, and I have been so impressed with what they have achieved. Well done, everyone!
