Forest School adventures for Year 1

Today we had such a lovely afternoon at Forest School, and we were very lucky with the weather as we thought we might get rained off!

Instead, the sun shone and we enjoyed some much-needed freedom and time outdoors. The children made the most of the area, climbing trees, building dens, making mud creations, digging, and playing with bows and arrows that they made from willow.

Our parent helper, Liz, brought along a gorgeous selection of blossom, mint, and willow. The children used these beautiful natural materials to make headbands and all sorts of imaginative creations.

There was so much play, creativity, and imagination during Forest School today — it was wonderful to see. Well done to all of the children!
