Happy half-term Class 4

We’ve had a busy final week of the half term in Class 4. We are ready to move on to new units in most of our subjects and are looking forward to completing our non-chronological reports in English after half term.

In English, we have been learning about using possessive apostrophes in plural words, as well as using pronouns and synonyms to improve the flow of our writing.

In maths, we have worked hard to cement our learning on fractions.

In RE, we learned the Hindu story of King Yudhishthira and the Dog and discussed what it teaches us about purpose, loyalty and kindness to nature.

We also reflected on our learning in Science and History through presentations and posters to ensure that nothing we have covered this half term is forgotten.

Well done to the children for maintaining their focus, even during a very warm end to the term. It was lovely to see parents, carers and family members in class for Open Door yesterday — thank you if you were able to come along.

Enjoy the half term ☀️
