Class 3 Story Box Creations
Class 3 Story Box Creations
Class 3 have had a fabulous morning creating story boxes
inspired by their favourite books. Before starting their own designs, the
children explored a range of examples and discussed the different ways stories
could be brought to life through art and design.
The children demonstrated fantastic creativity as they
carefully planned and constructed their story boxes, using a variety of
materials and techniques. They applied a range of DT skills, working
thoughtfully to create impressive 3D features and moving parts that helped
capture key moments from their chosen stories.
Throughout the session, the children worked
exceptionally well together, communicating their ideas clearly, sharing
resources, and supporting one another to overcome challenges. They showed great
problem-solving skills as they adapted their designs, tested different
approaches, and found creative solutions when things did not go quite as
planned.
By using mixed media, the children produced unique and imaginative story
boxes that reflected both their love of reading and their growing confidence as
designers and makers. We are very proud of their teamwork, perseverance, and
the wonderful creations they produced.
Well done Class 3!
