Clubs 9.6.26

Gardening club: Children planted seeds to create a raised bed of flowers which would attract bees and other important insects.

Art club: Children explored the work of Piet Mondrian and learned about his distinctive style using straight lines, geometric shapes, and primary colours. They created their own artworks inspired by Mondrian, carefully using black lines and blocks of red, blue, and yellow to produce bold and balanced designs.

Drama club: The children ran through the songs and show numbers from the schools upcoming musical production of Mary Poppins.

Sports club: Children took part in a variety of fun tag games that encouraged teamwork, agility, and quick reactions. They practised running, dodging, and changing direction while following simple rules and working cooperatively with others.
