A Fantastic Morning of Football at Darcy School! 

What an incredible morning we had at Darcy School as everyone came together to watch England's thrilling FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match against Mexico!

The atmosphere was electric from start to finish as we cheered on the Three Lions in a dramatic 3–2 victory. England showed tremendous grit, determination and resilience throughout the match. After racing into a two-goal lead through Jude Bellingham's brilliant brace, the team faced a huge challenge when reduced to 10 players. Harry Kane calmly converted a penalty to restore England's advantage before the players defended heroically under intense pressure to secure a memorable win and book their place in the quarter-finals.

Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed sharing the excitement together, celebrating every goal and encouraging the team right until the final whistle. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience the excitement of a major sporting event as a school community, while seeing first-hand the importance of teamwork, perseverance and never giving up.

A huge thank you to all of our fantastic staff who helped organise and support the morning, ensuring everyone could enjoy the match safely and make such wonderful memories together.
