Forest School fun
We enjoyed another wonderful Forest School session on Wednesday, making the most of the shade to stay cool while getting creative outdoors.
The children immersed themselves in a variety of activities, including building dens, whittling wood for different projects and making friendship bracelets. It was fantastic to see everyone working together, sharing ideas and enjoying the natural environment.
One of the highlights was trying out our brand-new rope walk, stretched between two trees. This exciting challenge encouraged the children to develop their balance, coordination and perseverance as they carefully made their way across.
We were especially impressed by the children's creativity during their woodworking projects. They came up with their own ideas, including making frog sticks and small wooden pots. They demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills by thinking through challenges, asking thoughtful questions and finding their own solutions as they worked.
It has been wonderful to see the children's confidence and independence continue to grow with each session. Well done, everyone!
