School's out for summer! Our last week in Class 2.

We have reached the end of another school year and what an amazing year it has been! It has been an absolute pleasure teaching such a wonderful group of children, and this class has been incredibly special. Watching them grow in confidence, curiosity and kindness has been a real privilege.

We have certainly ended the year on a high with a fun-filled final week of learning. In English, we explored the imaginative and entertaining poetry of Mandy Coe. After reading My Name is Blue, the children created their own poems inspired by a colour of their choice. They produced some fantastic, vibrant poems full of creativity and imagination – it was wonderful to see their ideas come to life.

In maths, we have been learning about directions. The children have been practising their left and right turns, as well as half and quarter turns, through a range of fun activities. They have worked brilliantly and really enjoyed putting their new skills into practice.

Thank you for all of your support throughout the year. I hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing summer holiday, and I wish everyone the very best for the year ahead!
