🌿 Mud, Nature Mobiles and Woodland Creativity!

We were lucky to stay mostly dry at Forest School this week, even enjoying our snack time sheltered beneath the trees!

As always, there was plenty of mud-making fun! The children loved digging into the ground and pouring in water to create a wonderfully muddy pit. There was lots of exploring, mixing and imaginative play!

We also enjoyed getting creative by making beautiful nature mobiles with the help of our parent volunteer.

Some of the children took on the challenge of finding and moving different materials from around our Forest School area. They discovered bricks from our old fire circle, leftover charcoal from previous fires and pieces of wood, transporting their finds in wheelbarrows. Working brilliantly as a team, they carefully arranged their materials to create patterns and shapes. Some children even built a house, while others enjoyed laying out their treasures on the ground and seeing what they could create. It was lovely to see their teamwork, creativity and imaginations in action!

As we reach the end of this half term, it has been an absolute pleasure having Willow Class at Forest School. Their excitement, playfulness, imagination and growing confidence have been wonderful to see. We have loved watching them explore, take on challenges and make the most of everything our woodland has to offer.

We hope the children have enjoyed their Forest School adventures just as much as we have. Thank you, Willow Class, for such a fantastic half term! 🌳
